The Iota Foundation is known for launching the MIOTA crypto token. However, they have decided to take their progress in the crypto industry a little further with a new collaboration between themselves and Nova, a startup incubator. The new partnership will use a new program to fund startups with Iota’s platform.
The Iota Cofounder will be found on Nova’s website, a place where startups can work on their development and seed funding. With the new program, startups will have access to the mentor program with Nova, along with a tech startup team that has 20 individual consultants.
To date, Nova has been responsible for co-founding over 80 technology startups, and over half are still active after three years in the industry. Based on a press release from the Iota Foundation, the likelihood of a startup lasting three years is about 10%, so the fact that over 50% of Nova’s startups have lasted beyond this point is substantial.
In November, the Tron protocol had expressed their interest in launching their own blockchain fund. The fund is meant for gaming on the blockchain and is being called Tron Arcade. The following month, Ethereum Classic Labs launched a development team called ETC Labs Core.
