Accessing the Tron blockchain will now become easier for the users as TronLink has been released for popular browsers. The feature can be used on Google Chrome, Brave Browser, and Firefox browser. The extension will help to simplify access to the Tron blockchain and make interacting with decentralized apps easier.

Creating a MetaMask for Tron

According to the official statement by Tron, the new extension will act like MetaMask, providing quicker access to blockchain and decentralized applications. It writes:

“TronLink provides similar usage to the Tron Network as MetaMask does with the Ethereum Network. Developers will now be able to create and interact with DApps in the browser, which opens up a whole new realm that Tron has never seen before.”

As TronLink becomes available to all, developers will be able to work with smart contracts available for their dApps within their browser. Such interactions were not possible before TronLink was released. The extension will be enabled for all games, sites, and applications built on Tron blockchain.

Getting Started With Tronlink

The users will first have to install their browser extension and then add their password twice before getting the Wallet Seed. Tron suggests all users keep a backup of the wallet to ensure the safety of their funds. Users will be able to import their wallets to the extension as well. The settings allow the use of either Tron TestNet or Tron MainNet, which could be helpful for developers.

The Foundation also gave a shout out to their Systems Architect Tayler King who developed TronLink as well as TronWeb 2.0. It also asked users to check Tronbet.io to see how TronLink works in real time. An open-source demo of the extension has also been made available. The TronWatch Market demo will also include TronLink testing from next week.

The Foundation finally talked about TronWatch Market in some detail, writing:

“We’re looking to build one of TRON’s first fully-featured decentralized exchanges. It will allow you to easily and securely trade between TRON, TRX10, and TRX20 tokens. You can get the details about our token sale and read the whitepaper at tronwatch.market.”

It informed that a global team of experienced developers from the United States, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom worked together to create the TronWatch platform.
