Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) continue to be the talk of the town during this crypto bull run. As Charmin, a toilet paper brand enters the market with its very own NFTs appropriately called NFT(P)s.
Toilet paper brand Charmin has decided to create and sell their very own line of NFTs. Yes, you read that right!
The brand has launched its own NFTs for sale on the popular NFT platform Rarible. In a Twitter announcement, the company refers to digital art as NFT(P). Charmin stated, “Sometimes a better bathroom experience goes beyond the seat, that’s why we’re rolling out the first-ever NFT art by a toilet paper brand!”

However, the NFT release should not be taken too seriously. The company announced that all proceeds would be donated to Direct Relief.
Adoption Keeps SpreadingNFTs are quite clearly one of the most hyped parts of the current crypto ecosystem. The digital art space has been growing faster than any other part of the industry, with the likes of digital artist Beeple, who recently sold an NFT for a record $69 million. It’s no wonder everyone wants to get in on the action.

From musicians to sports superstars, everyone is entering the market. Most recently, rapper and co-founder of failed music gig Fyre Festival Ja-rule joined the market. Ja-rule is selling a physical NFT of a Fyre Festival oil painting.
Musk NFT Currently Over $1m at AuctionElon Musk is also auctioning off a Twitter. The tweet is a song about NFTs. Essentially as the billionaire puts it – “I’m selling this song about NFTs as an NFT.”

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) March 15, 2021While the launch of NFTs by popular fast-food chain Taco Bell last week might have topped the list in terms of most ridiculous NFTs, Charmin has clearly taken the cake with their toilet paper-related NFTs.
The good news is that most of the major companies releasing NFTs are donating all the proceeds to charities.
The NFT space will continue to grow, and it is very likely we see more companies launch NFTs in the future.
