The creators of TronWatch announced the development of TronLink back in late July right after the successful launch of the Tron (TRX) Mainnet. TronLink is meant to simplify access to the Tron Blockchain from an internet browser, in a manner similar to how MetaMask does with the Ethereum network. With TronLink, developers will now be able to create and interact with DApps in their browser of choice (Chrome, Firefox and Brave). This in turn makes it easier for them to interact with the smart contracts they create for their DApps.
Where to Download the current Beta Version of TronLinkThe team at TronWatch wishes to inform developers that the currently available version, is in the Beta stage of development. What this means, is that this is not the full release. Anyone willing to try it out, should have this in mind before downloading.
The extension is currently available at the Chrome Store and the Firefox Add-ons page. You can also use TronLink inside the Brave browser.
When installing the extension for the first time, the user will need to enter his/her password twice. Once this is done, it will provide a backup phrase that will be used when you want to recover the application and your funds in the future should the need arise. After the backup phrase is provided, the user will then be prompted to import his/her wallet. Backing up one’s wallet is also advised before using TronLink.
About TronWatch, the Creators of TronLinkThe team at TronWatch has a vision and goal to build the first full-featured decentralized exchange that functions on the Tron network. Users will be able to trade TRX and other Tron based tokes such as TRX10 and TRX20. The project is currently in the ICO phase. The price for one TronWatchMarket token is 0.5 TRX. The token sale ends in 6 days at the moment of writing this.
More information on the TronWatch crowd sale can be found on TronWatch.Market.
