TaTaTu Cryptocurrency Platform Seals Exclusive Deal With Lakeshore Entertainment, Kew Media Group, And Film4 For Over 50 Library Titles
Andrea Lervolino’s brainchild “TaTaTu”, which is a social and entertainment platform centred around cryptocurrency, just concluded agreements for licensed content involving media titles from Lakeshore Entertainment, Film4, and Kew Media Group.
More than 50 movies and TV shows are expected to be provided to TaTaTu users, involving titles such as the trilogy of The Children of the Corn, The Amateurs, Heathers, Hotel Splendide, and The War Zone, these titles also feature actors such as Liam Neeson, Tilda Swinton, Kristen Stewart, Scarlett Johansson, Daniel Craig, Anthony Hopkins, Winona Ryder, Tommy Lee Jones and Jeff Bridges.
Although the financial implications of the deals are not publicly available, but it is known that the deal bolsters TaTaTu’s offering significantly, by also including valuable public favorites to TaTaTu's new content library.
BackstoryTaTaTu was launched in the first quarter of 2018, to create and put together digital content, and is run by the entrepreneur and movie producer Andrea Lervolino, who just recently is in collaboration with the actor Johnny Depp to fulfil this purpose.
TaTaTu’s token presale closed at $575 million, with the proceeds being used to fund the development of original content, market the platform to new users and continually evolves its software.
TaTaTu ‘s Mode Of OperationTaTaTu is designed as an Advertising Video on Demand (AVOD) entertainment system, which brings together elements from the existing media platforms and popular social networks, combined with a unique system that offers incentives to its users. Industry Deals And AcquisitionsAmidst the recent licensing agreements, The company also recently signed major industry deals with BondIt Media Capital, which is one of the top media financiers, as well as Fintage House, an international movie and TV rights company, which also offers financial services. Fintage House is in place to ensure the recognition and acceptance of the company’s tokens (TaTaTu Tokens), on specific transactions to finance movies or TV series, and to acquire account management deals for film and TV rights transactions.
Other recent acquisitions by TaTaTu include Friedkin Uncut, a documentary featuring actors such as Quentin Tarantino, Matthew McConaughey, Francis Ford Coppola, Willem Dafoe, Ellen Burstyn, Juno Temple, Wes Anderson,Gina Gershon and William Friedkin.
TaTaTu's Original ContentOn the original content front, TaTaTu has been busy with the production of original movies and TV series for its users, which are funded and produced projects. Some of TaTaTu’s original content include a Jeremy Renner original documentary, David Henrie’s teen comedy This Is the Year, an adaptation of J.M. Coetzee’s award-winning novel Waiting for the Barbarians, starring Johnny Depp, Mark Rylance and Robert Pattinson, and being directed by Ciro Guerra, a Lamborghini biopic starring Antonio Banderas and Alec Baldwin, and The Sound of Freedom starring Jim Caviezel and Mira Sorvino.
