Shortly after its birth, Bitcoin ABC Overtakes Satoshi Vision in Block Quantity

2018-11-16 19:07

The hard fork has been completed, Bitcoin Cash has been split, but a new competition was birthed as expected. With Bitcoin Cash ABC and Satoshi Vision in motion, the end product can only be one token above, and the other below ; this began to take place during the fork, as Craig Wright’s Bitcoin Satoshi Vision was behind by block quantity, against Roger Ver’s Bitcoin Cash ABC, which had already attained 12 blocks higher than its opponent in just hours of the commencement of the highly anticipated Bitcoin Cash hard fork.

The Bitcoin Cash network upgrade which had lead to a ‘hash war’ between both parties who are still currently battling to take the most control of the Bitcoin Cash network as well as its hashing rate had favored Bitcoin ABC which had already mined 12 blocks ahead, while Bitcoin Satoshi Vision was only stuck with 6 blocks in the first few hours.

Progressively, SV was showing some signs of recuperation as it jumped up by 4 blocks, to make 10 (ABC – 12 / SV -10), while ABC was already up ahead by 14 Blocks, shortly after which SV hit 13; almost a tie.

As the battle intensified, both ABC and SV landed at 16 blocks each. But ABC was able to set the records straight in split seconds as it moved up to 20, and continued to climb upward till it gathered an impressive total of 54 blocks, while SV was dangling at 34.

A window of opportunity for overtaking presented itself to Satoshi Vision when Bitcoin ABC suffered a spam attack and lost around 7 blocks, in which time SV’s pending block began clearing. At the moment of this writing, BCH ABC leads the ship with 47 blocks, while the number of blocks for SV is still pending, thus the sum total of blocks are unknown.
