Ledger Officially Adds Two Cryptocurrencies to Its list of Support
Safely securing cryptocurrencies have always been an essential step, especially for investors who have large holdings. Of the many hardware wallets that have been making it to the market, that of the Ledger has been preferred by many. In particular, their operating system called BOLOS is what has set them apart – largely known as the technology only they were successful in providing. To date, Ledger has been available across 165 countries, with as much as one million wallets sold!
A recent tweet made by the multicurrency hardware wallet and vault, Ledger shows that it will now support the likes of Tron and ZCoin. In addition to this announcement, the team involved have also disclosed the fact that third-party apps will also be made available through the Ledger Live, which the team have previously dubbed as
“an all-in-one companion application for your Ledger device that runs on Windows, Mac and Linux”.
The tweet made on July 18, 2018, went as follows:

The addition of Zcoin and Tron has now resulted in a total of 33 different cryptocurrencies that have been supported by the Ledger. As for their compatibility, Ledger has revealed that Zcoin’s compatibility wallet is that of Electrum-xzc and Tron’s being the Tronscan. Tutorials have also been provided.
