McAfee Takes Legal Action Against HitBTCSome weeks ago, John McAfee asked his followers to boycott the crypto exchange known as HitBTC. According to what he wrote that time, the exchange became a centralized authority such as the ones that the virtual currency community is trying to fight against.
He explained that HitBTC has increased the suffering for millions of poor people that cannot afford the minimum buy-in. Indeed, it can even be greater than their monthly income. So after it, he called the crypto community to Boycott the exchange.
After it, and in another tweet he said that he will become the worst enemy of the exchange until it proves that it is aligned with the interests of the crypto community rather than being a centralized authority.
McAfee is fighting governments that take money from people and financial institutions. But now, it has started to attack crypto exchanges that apply high fees and operate in a similar way to financial institutions.
