Wemade announces MOU with Indonesia’s Attention Group

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, 29 MARCH 2022 — Wemade, a South Korean game development company that is a frontrunner in the blockchain gaming sector, announces that the company has signed an MOU with Indonesian gaming and IT company Attention Group for business collaborations.

cs. It has an impressive track record of localising, marketing, and publishing games for major Chinese global game companies such as Tencent, Riot Games, NetEase and Lilith Games.

Attention Group’s multi-channel network business has a pool of exclusive contracts with gaming influencers and content influencers across six Southeast Asian countries, with the total number of subscribers reaching about 150 million. In addition, in 2016, EVOS e-sports club, a subsidiary of Attention Group, was established and operated its own club and professional league to build the largest e-sports organisation in Southeast Asia.

As part of the partnership, Wemade plans to launch various projects in the gaming sector with Attention Group and further strengthen its cooperation in the blockchain sector.

“Various blockchains around the world will be connected based on interoperability. We will be able to create synergy in various fields by collaborating with promising companies,” said Chang Hyun Guk (Henry), CEO of Wemade.

Wemade recently completed a non-deal roadshow held in the UK and the United States and participated at the Game Developers Conference (GDC 2022) in San Francisco, United States. At GDC 2022, Wemade introduced global gaming and blockchain companies to WEMIX, Wemade’s own global blockchain gaming platform. The company also shared updates across its various businesses and highlighted new games on the WEMIX platform.
