Several well-known crypto personalities have suggested that Ben Armstrong, who represented BitBoy Crypto, has allegedly separated from the brand.
“This decision has not been easy. However, after long consideration, we are confident that is the only path forward,” a statement from Around The Blockchain declares.
BitBoy Crypto Rumors Circulating OnlineOn August 28, well-known crypto influencers, including Jason A. Williams and Ran Neuner, shared a statement on X (formerly Twitter) from Around The Blockchain. The statement indicates that Ben Armstrong will not continue as the frontman of BitBoy Crypto.
“Effective immediately, Ben Armstrong will no longer be working with Hit Network/BJ Holdings and all subsidiary brands including but not limited to BitBoy Crypto and Around The Blockchain.”
During a livestream, Wendy O, a prominent crypto influencer and friend of Armstrong’s, confirmed the rumors to her 194,000 subscribers.
“This is not FUD, this is actually real. I can confirm that this is real,” she asserted.

“This is Ben. TJ Shedd & Justin Williams have attempted a coup at my company. Just confirming what is going around. It’s true. There has been a mutiny at BitBoy Crypto & Hit Network. But it won’t work. They have no leverage. Until they can clone me, I have nothing to worry about.”
Wendy O further clarified that more information will be available in the next 24 hours. “We are going to get more information tomorrow. Hit Network is going to put out an official statement, so we essentially have to wait for that to confirm what happened,” she stated.
Armstrong Under Scrutiny In Recent TimesArmstrong has been involved in several controversial issues in recent times.
On June 5, Armstrong announced he was ending his partnership with controversial meme coin creator ben.eth. This came after their collaborative release of the memecoin BEN amid accusations of a rug pull:
“I have completely separated from @eth_ben. We will no longer working together in any capacity. Good luck to him on all accounts, but going forward, $BEN will have no association to any project related to him. He also no longer holds any $BEN token.”

Not too long before this, he was allegedly facing an arrest warrant after failing to show up in court.
On April 20, reports indicate that Armstrong was due to show up in court over allegations of harassment towards attorney Adam Moskowitz.
Moskowitz is the legal representative for a group of investors who initiated legal action against several celebrities who endorsed the now-bankrupt crypto exchange FTX, including Armstrong. The lawsuit alleges they promoted FTX without disclosing compensation.
In a separate lawsuit following this, Moskowitz alleges that Armstrong harassed him with “endless phone calls, Tweets, and emails to him privately, and publicly posting insulting and threatening posts on Twitter, Youtube and other social media.”
