Во время конференции Korea Blockchain Week 2022 сооснователь Эфириума Виталик Бутерин заявил, что переход сети на PoS может повысить популярность криптовалют для повседневных платежей. Бутерин напомнил, что ранее использование криптовалют для платежей было более распространенным, однако большая часть блокчейнов столкнулись с проблемами масштабируемости и высокими комиссиями.
