Buy Ether With ApplePayPowered by payments platform Wyre, MyEtherWallet now allows users to quickly make ETH purchases with their debit cards. American users can also purchase Ether using Wyre’s ApplyPay integration.
Gunjan Mehta of Wyre Partnerships said in a brief shared with Crypto Briefing:
“Working with MEW to integrate our new native ApplePay integration to their mobile app was delightful and we couldn’t have picked a better launch partner.”
Founded in 2015, MyEtherWallet is one of the crypto industry’s most established crypto wallet providers. The crypto project will continue offering many of the same advanced features now on its mobile application.
The director of mobile at MyEtherWallet, Alex Komarov, explained how the product’s “long history of security, reliability, usability” would now be more “accessible to everyone, even total beginners.”
The project has also been offering educational tools along with its wallet services to teach new users about proper crypto hygiene.
Not to be confused with a previous iOS and Android application, MEWconnect; the new app allows users to earn interest, access to all ERC20 tokens, interact with dApps, and deploy smart contracts all within the MEW Wallet.
