Tron [TRX], the eleventh largest cryptocurrency, has not managed to gain back its position among the top 10 cryptocurrencies, but Tron foundation has kept up with the latest developments and in informing users about their progress in terms of technological developments. Tron Foundation released its weekly report that highlighted the development on the technical and developers’ front on April 1.
The foundation has tested the ‘data backup feature’ and completed the design of the side chain architecture. The team is still working on the deferred transaction and is awaiting a test round. Additionally, the team is developing an anonymous transaction.
On the developer’s end, TronGrid “released MVP APIs to production environment”. The community has been setting up query service performance monitoring and improved query performance for addresses. The community is also testing the end-to-end performance of block parser.
The community is also working towards developing an Airdrop execution program for the USDT-Tron partnership. The technical integration has already begun with OKEx and Huobi.
Tron’s market transaction highlighted the support that Tron-USDT partnership has received from various trading platforms like Cobo, TRXMarket, TornLink, Huobi Global, and ZB.com. It also included eToro adding Tron to its platform.
As for BitTorrent [BTT], it was listed on 40 exchanges, including OKEx, Bittrex International, Huobi, Bithumb, Bitfinex, and Upbit. BitTorrent also introduced its BitTorrent Live social media application to create live content, connect with people, and earn money. The foundation said that it plans on integrating blockchain technology with the core of BitTorrent Live and provide privacy and ownership to users. At the same time, it will also enable a new payment option. This social media application will only be available globally in phases.
According to the Tron DApps report, 236 DApps with over 500 smart contracts, along with 14 decentralized exchanges and 54 games, are currently on Tron. Tron’s mainnet had 2.2 million accounts and the 24-hour transaction number capped at around 4.2 million.
