Ahead of the Tron summit dubbed “niTron”, Tron foundation is throwing out a total of $1 million to Tron developers via the TronAccelerator. TronAccelerator is intended to empower developers around the world by creating a platform that enables them to build a decentralized project of their choice (dApp) whilst taking advantage of Tron’s protocol. A total of $1 million will be awarded to 56 winners.
The announcement which was made via a post on the TronAccelerator website read :
“TRON Accelerator is a $1 million USD program aiming to empower developers and foster innovation within the blockchain industry. Developer teams are invited to submit their decentralized application project, build on the TRON protocol, and compete for one of the most ambitious Blockchain hackathons ever hosted”.

Grand Prizes
The first prize of $200,000 will be allocated to one winner, the second prize of $100,000 will be shared amongst two winners, while the third prize of $50,000 will go to three winners, all three of the grand prizes comes with free travel and accommodation during the niTron summit.
Special Prizes
A total of $240,000 will equally be awarded to 8 winners from the special prize section. The special prize category will be judged based on excellence in blockchain game, application tool, decentralized exchange, UI design, innovation, user experience, most influential dApp, and Onchain activity dApp. All 8 winners will go home with $30,000 each.
Lastly, $210,000 ($5,000 each) will be credited to 42 finalists.
Applications can be submitted in English and Chinese only. Also, developers can apply individually or in a team in their numbers, as there is no maximum amount required. Before the end of the competition, developers will be subjected to a code review, after which judging begins. Judges include Tron executives as well as its founder, Justin Sun.
