Tim Draper: Bitcoin’s Destined to be Worth $250,000 By 2023 Despite Current Path Uncertainty

Are you missing the presence of Bitcoin bulls who makes incredibly far-fetched assumptions of how Bitcoin will be worth a lot in the future? Brace yourselves. Here we go again.

Tim Draper, a crypto investor and billionaire, has reaffirmed that his price prediction for Bitcoin being worth $250,000 USD by 2022 is “absolutely solid”. He has spoken at the Web Summit conference in Lisbon yesterday, November 8, and doubled down on his price forecast for Bitcoin.

The investor is well known for his optimism about the future of Bitcoin and it looks like the bear market did not this bull down. According to him, he got a pretty good sense that his prediction is solid because Bitcoin has a lot of value and people will see it in the future.

He believes that placing the financial sovereignty in the users’ hands is a great idea and that it is “much better than we have today”, he affirmed, referring to the current centralized financial market.

All the panelists agreed that BTC/USD should be trading higher next year but not all of them were necessarily as optimistic as Draper. As the crypto “winter” is running wild and the bear market continues, people are less keen on making grand affirmations now as none of them are 100% sure that the “winter” may end in 2019.

Is Draper right or he’s just saying things like McAfee did when he affirmed that the price of Bitcoin would be higher at the end of the year? Well, since we will not know if he is right for about 5 years, we will have to be patient.
