Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, is taking TRX in a new direction with the privacy features that will promote peer-to-peer functions through the cryptocurrency Zcash.
Sun participated in an interview with the Bad Crypto Podcast and therein, he stated that due to its importance as a feature, Tron will be adding privacy in the coming year. The upgrade will enable those who use the system to designate themselves as anonymous. During the interview, Sun stated:
“I think privacy is also important for the network. So that’s why I think next year, QI, we will adopt the zk-SNARKs into our network. So zero-knowledge proof into our network. This is how we can improve the privacy of the whole network. So in the e future, if you want to have private transaction and a private address, we can also make sure nobody – if you sue the address – that nobody can see you. The transaction can be untraceable. We provide a different solution, and depending on your preference, you can choose the different one.”
For those who are uanware, zero-knowledge is a mathematical system that allows one to validate transactions, without revealing data that is personal to the individual. The feature will be available, according to Sun.
