Spores Network announced that it will be producing Maschinen Krieger in an upcoming NFT collection.
Some of the proceeds from the sales will support Yokoyama’s creative endeavors and contributions to this exciting new medium.
“It’s an incredible honor that Sensei Yokoyama has trusted us to have Spores bring his Ma.K vision to the NFT world. We are going to bring his legions of fans into our metaverse as well as bring the crypto community into his vision,” said enthused Spores Network Chairman Duc Luu.
“I am excited to bring my work to a new digital-first audience, but I am not interested in simply reproducing my designs as collectibles,” said Yokoyama when asked about the collaboration.
“I want to explore how we might blend interactive design with a physical product. It’s an exciting new frontier for me. I am also grateful for Spores’ support of my foundation to inspire and guide a new generation of artists working both in physical and digital art.”
“I am honored that Kow would consider working with us on Maschinen Krieger, and I was delighted to see how excited he originally was for the idea, ” enthused Spores Network chief content officer Allen Dam.
The Kow Yokoyama/Spores project was produced by Rick Privman and Yumiko Miyano.
