Roger Wuthrich-Hasenbohler has just been named as the new CEO of the Swisscom Blockchain platform; he has come in to replace the former Daniel Haudenschild, who has decided to leave the company.
Before this post, Wuthrich-Hasenbohler was the former chief digital officer plus the head of the digital business within Swisscom, and from this, he is taking over as the acting CEO with immediate effect.
More on the SwisscomThe Swisscom blockchain platform is a subsidiary of the Swisscom has been established to offer project and consulting services that are related to the blockchain technology. The company has been able to acquire several customers; this is the likes of the Swiss Canton of the Glarus, Raiffeisenbank together with the Falcon Bank.
The company has also been able to acquire 30 employees for its team. Some of the services that they are offering are the Tokenization of Launchpad, an application that can be used to generate tokens plus a blockchain academy that will be able to provide several parties with the needed training.
The Infrastructure that supports the Swisscom Blockchain runs on the Hyper Ledger Fabric platform, plus it is also working on the private blockchain. And in the second quarter, we should expect to see the very first pilot of the company application.
