The alliance will see the developers implement Forte Labs Blockchain technologies to their respective games. The technology will mostly be integrated for validations of the game assets and even characters issued through reward incentives or in-app purchases.
Representatives from Forte Labs, however, seem to share the sentiment that blockchain technology is insufficient on its own, adding that gamers' input would be instrumental in realizing the pros of blockchain. This is could only be bridged by onboarding gaming developers in the systemic process.
“As experts of their craft, they will elevate modern games from pure entertainment experiences, to ones that will take on a new relevance in players’ lives through community economics.”
According to Kaiser Hwang, Forte’s VP of Marketing highlighted that the strategic partnership would offer gamers a unique opportunity to afford them to securely trade with each other, own in-game assets and even get extra by playing with other gamers.
“The technology offers ways to address many economic issues found in the games industry today by unlocking more equitable and sustainable business models.”
