5 Reasons Why Cardano Will 10x in 2025: ADA Price Prediction

A top crypto analyst sees major potential for Cardano in 2025. Mitchell Bouchard, known as Crypto Moose on YouTube, thinks ADA might experience growth of 10x due to various developments.

He mentions the platform’s developing smart contract ecosystem and increasing institutional interest as major factors. Bouchard also highlights enhanced blockchain interoperability and changing market conditions that may favor Cardano. 

While crypto markets have been relatively flat lately, the analyst maintains a strongly optimistic outlook for ADA, suggesting its value could increase by a factor of ten.

Bitcoin’s Market Share Decline Could Boost ADA

The data highlights Bitcoin’s market domination, which is currently between 59 and 60 percent. Bouchard contends that liquidity will move to altcoins like Cardano when Bitcoin’s proportion of the overall cryptocurrency market decreases.  

He suggests that ADA, as a prominent Layer-1 blockchain, stands to benefit significantly from this redistribution. “When Bitcoin loses some of its dominance, that’s when we will see big gains for Cardano,” he stated.

Cardano’s smart contract ecosystem has matured significantly since the last market cycle, with Plutus-powered contracts and a growing DeFi sector. Decentralized exchanges such as MinSwap, SundaySwap, and Indigo are building steam, contributing to a rising TVL. Cardano also recently underwent a hard fork, allowing NFTs and smart contracts to execute independently. 

Bouchard noted that while Cardano lags behind Ethereum and Solana in DeFi activity, its deliberate development process ensures a more robust infrastructure. “Cardano took its time to build a resilient blockchain, unlike others that rushed out unfinished products,” he said.

Institutional Adoption and Cardano’s Major Partnerships

Cardano’s increasing adoption by institutions and governments is another factor in its potential price surge. Bouchard cited ongoing NGO engagements and partnerships with the Ethiopian government and World Mobile.

There are also rumors that Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, may meet with prominent people like Elon Musk or Donald Trump. “One of the largest decentralized chains is seeing massive adoption—this is just the beginning,” Bouchard noted.

Staking remains a core component of Cardano’s appeal, with over 60% of ADA supply currently staked. Bouchard shared his own experience, revealing that he holds 20,000 ADA in a Trezor Model T hardware wallet while earning rewards through delegation. 

He also discussed ISPOs (Initial Stake Pool Offerings), where participants earn new tokens instead of ADA. “Cardano’s staking is easy, non-custodial, and completely liquid. Nothing is locked!” he emphasized.

ADA ETF Filing, Interoperability Upgrades, and 2025 Price Outlook

Cardano’s ecosystem is expanding through strategic interoperability initiatives, with the Hydra scaling solution leading the charge. While bridge development continues to connect with major networks like Ethereum and Bitcoin, complementary sidechains Midnight and Milkomeda are strengthening cross-chain capabilities. 

Bouchard highlighted the upcoming ability to execute Bitcoin transactions through Cardano’s network, marking a technological milestone. Institutional interest continues to grow, evidenced by Grayscale’s recent move to file for a Cardano ETF, though market prices remain relatively stable. 

Bouchard predicts that ADA will reach conservative estimates of $7-8 by 2025, with a possible upside of $11–13, primarily depending on the performance of Bitcoin and general market conditions. ADA’s foundations are strong, bolstered by consistent adoption growth and growing technological capabilities, even in the face of recent sluggishness in the cryptocurrency industry.
