Rapidfire Unicorn, a London-based games studio that develops games, gaming technology, and intellectual property focused on FTG, has disclosed a revolutionary Shoot-to-Earn PVP Game, Hotshot, at the GamesBeat NEXT industry event.

According to the announcement, the game is built with the Rapidfire Unicorn’s fast transaction gaming (FTG), a new form of play-to-earn (P2E) gaming involving rapid transactions between players.

The system enables new types of Play-to-Earn gaming with high earning potential for skilled gamers.

Following its design, Hotshot is an online multiplayer game of skill in which players can shoot other players to earn in-game tokens. 

While a shot can earn a player as much as $5, each time a player is shot in the game, tokens are transferred from the balance/score of the player that was shot to the shooter’s balance/score.

According to the announcement, players can sign into the game by email or with their blockchain wallet. Notably, the game requires players to purchase in-game tokens before playing, as each token represents the right to play. These in-game tokens can be acquired in standard amounts of $10, $20, and $50, either by credit or debit card or by making a crypto asset transfer. 

In addition to this, Rapidfire has revealed plans to add crypto asset payments with the following assets: ETH, USDT, USDC, MATIC, TRX, SHIB, LINK, OMG, DAI, BAT, UNI, MANA, SAND, AAVE, PEPE, GRT, APE, CHZ, SUSHI, FTM, 1INCH, STORJ, WBTC, IMX, ARB, OP, LPT.

These cryptocurrencies can be sent through Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Tron blockchains.

Nonetheless, winnings on the game can be taken out when players redeem their in-game ‘tokens’ for funds and withdraw them from the Game to the credit/debit card or blockchain wallet used initially to purchase in-game tokens and the right to play.

Interestingly, the game is available for interested payers in any modern Web browser, both on PCs and on mobile devices.

Scheduled to be held in November, Hotshot’s first Alpha Play Day will offer the first 300 players to play Hotshot a reward of USD 20 worth of in-game tokens for free. After launch, the game will be available in most countries worldwide.
