Qtum, a performance, and high-security blockchain platform have announced its partnership with Travala.com a Binance-backed crypto-friendly travel book gateway.
According to the announcement, the newly formed partnership seeks to help further crypto adoption to millions of people who use Travala.com for accommodations, flight ad activities services.
Through the partnership, users can now use QTUM, Qtum’s native currency to book hotels, flights, tours, and vacation homes. Holders of QTUM will be able to participate in a cheaper, fairer, and more inclusive travel economy.
Commenting on the partnership, Benjamin Dahl, Marketing Manager, Qtum, explained:
“We see the travel sector at large coming back strong in the coming years, at the same time, we are experiencing unprecedented growth in the crypto markets, which translates to a new strong base of customers wanting to travel globally in the coming years. I see Travala as the obvious travel partner, the era of locked-up customer rewards/points is finally over.”
To kick off the partnership, the two are offering users an opportunity to save up to 40% through great discounts and daily deals. QTUM is also holding a “QTUM Dream Weekend Getaway” for a lucky winner on Twitter. The winner will get a $2000 vacation which will be awarded as a travel credit that can be used solely for one-time travel services. Qtum plans to host an AMA on July 19 at 11:00 AM UTC in Telegram where the winner will be announced. In addition, the platform is also planning to give an additional 1000 QTUM in travel products to the community.
This partnership will reportedly bring numerous benefits to both, Qtum and Travala.com. For Qtum, the partnership adds further utility to the QTUM token alongside others cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Travala.com’s native AVA token that are already added on Travala.com. Notably, over 200,000 active monthly users in over 200 countries will now be able to use the QTUM token and a whole range of Qtum products.
For Travala.com, this partnership provides an opportunity to bring blockchain bases travel agencies to a wider audience.
