QLC Chain Revamps Its Platform For Better User Experience For VPN ANd WiFi dApp

The current dApp ecosystem lacks in experience and has hard development procedures. This has factored in utility dApps not being able to get the same level of enthusiasm and user adoption as gaming dApps.

QLC Chain is making an effort to change this. QLC Chain is the first public chain for a decentralized network. The QLC Chain and supporting ecosystem will enable any individual, business or organization to leveraged the infrastructure and their mobile network resources to become a network service provider.

Among others, the three most important features of QLC Chain are:

Multidimensional Block Lattice structure for multiple tokens issuance; Smart Contract support; Dual consensus model for distributed transaction validations.

In addition to provide a fast, scalable and extendable network, QLC Chain enables everyone to operate network services and benefit from it.

WinQ: Utility dApp Developed By QLC Chain

WinQ platform is a built on NEO public chain without a central server. The advantages of using the NEO public chain is that it uses DBFT consensus and therefore resolves the issue of speed. However, there is more than just TPS as a barrier.

There were a number of new features added to the application aimed at making it more accessible to novice users. Users can now connect to a VPN server three times for free before establishing a WinQ wallet. This change was made to make the app more intuitive as it involves only choosing a username and password with no public or private keys required.

The app’s VPN page was also changed. There is now a drop-down menu containing the most popular server location settings such as the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and others. Furthermore, the page was overhauled to assist the user’s decision-making process. The page now shows the number of successful connections each VPN has had, and a simple toggle button to establish a connection.

WinQ v1.2.7 Update

The dApp will be moving to the NEO MainNet by the end of this year. In order to retain users as well as increase user adoption, users are now allowed 3 free VPN connections before a wallet is created. This will make WinQ dApp more accessible for non-crypto users.
