Pornhub Finds A Viable Solution To Bypass The Indian ISP Block As Crypto Payments Remain A Focus

2018-11-8 12:56

Pornhub, an adult content site, has now found a viable solution to circumvent the Indian ISP block. Rather than just using the traditional ‘.com’ domain, the company will now use ‘.net’ domain, which bypasses artificial blockage, allowing Indian users to access the site.

Pornhub, which has made headlines recently for accepting cryptocurrency payments, was blocked by the Indian authorities together with other adult sites. The government had ordered all telecommunication firms to block such sites, which included 827 platforms.

However, Pornhub quickly found a way to solve the issue, nullifying the ISP blockades. The adult site is very popular in India, and has remained open to solve any arising matters with the government in a professional way, according to NullTX, a crypto news outlet.

It’s not clear how this has affected Pornhub and its operations, considering that it was receiving a high number of traffic from India.

Pornhub is one of the most recent companies to accept cryptocurrencies payments. It partnered with PumaPay to integrate the system, allowing users to pay in terms of crypto for streaming content on Pornhub site.
