Renowned crypto evangelist and influencer Anthony Pompliano who is also a Morgan Creek Digital partner, has announced the launching of a crypto and blockchain jobs site which is backed by some serious players in the industry such as Coinbase, BlockFi, and Gemini.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Pompliano announced PompCryptoJobs is now live and already has more than 100 crypto-related job positions from the three launching partners.
Known to many in the crypto world as Pomp, the crypto influencer stated that he hopes to use his vast audience in the crypto space to attract more companies and potential employees. Pomp explained that the aim of the job board is to bridge the gap between job seekers and crypto and blockchain firms. Pomp said in an interview,
“There are millions of people who are out of work in the United States, and many more that want to transition into the Bitcoin and crypto industry. The best companies in the industry have thousands of open jobs available. It felt like an easy solution to create a marketplace where job candidates and corporations could find and connect with each other.”
Pomp has more than half a million followers on Twitter and has been bullish about Bitcoin even at its worst days. He explained that he hopes to leverage on his large audience to draw both companies and job seekers to the new job board.
The site will function like other job sites where there will be a side for both job seekers as well as employers. Job seekers will be required to provide their names and use their emails to set up an account and then upload their testimonials free of charge.
The site expects to make money from companies posting jobs. The charges range from $200 to $2500 per month on the basis of the listings posted. The site seeks to reach both remote and in-person job seekers regardless of their location worldwide.
“My goal is to get 10,000 jobs on the board this year,” said Pomp.
