The public face of OneCoin, Sebastian Greenwood, has been arrested and extradited to the United States. Greenwood was captured by the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) in Thailand as reported by the Bangkok Post. In order to capture him, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) provided valuable information to capture the individual.

Sebastian is accused to be involved in a $400 million dollars money-laundering indictment against Mark Scott, according to Behind MLM. Greenwood disappeared back in 2016 before the One Coin scam collapse. The company stopped paying affiliate ROI requests since there were no more earnings from new users.

Nevertheless, Greenwood might not be the main individual behind OneCoin. Indeed, according to some reports, he was the second in command behind Ruja Ignatova. Apparently, Greenwood was able to steal tens of millions of dollars from affiliates.

Back in May this year, Chinese authorities were able to seize around $7.2 million dollars that could be linked to OneCoin. These funds were held in a bank account with Greenwood’s name on it.
