The Komplete Kontrol A25 is an excellent MIDI-controller without any bloat
The Komplete Kontrol A-series from Native Instruments is here to do work. The lineup features three keyboard MIDI-controllers that aren’t very pretty, but manage to give producers everything they need in a hardware package – and plenty to love in the included software. дальше »

Review: The Fnatic miniSTREAK is a solid gaming keyboard for under $100
Gamers and writers are alike in one important respect: they’re both extremely discerning about the keyboards they use. As someone who sits in the middle of that particular venn diagram, I was thrilled when Fnatic offered me the chance to review their miniSTREAK compact gaming keyboard. дальше »

Razer wants you to mine cryptocurrency for store credit – don’t
Yesterday, Razer announced the launch of its SoftMiner program which uses a computer’s redundant resources to mine cryptocurrency when the user is “away from keyboard” (AFK). Only the user doesn’t get any of the mined cryptocurrency, all they get is store credit at Razer, known as Razer Silver. дальше »

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion is better than Odyssey — fight me
Hey hey hey, don’t hit that keyboard just yet. Yes, I’m aware Rebellion is neither the biggest nor most-ballyhooed release in the Assassin’s Creed series this year. But I think, in terms of enjoyment per hour of time spent in the game, I just liked this one so much more. дальше »

How to mess with the PlayStation Classic’s hidden settings using only a USB keyboard
We need to update the infinite monkey theorem. This states that a monkey hitting keys on a typewriter will eventually type out a complete published text, you know, like Hamlet or something. Things are different these days. дальше »

SwiftKey adds a surprisingly handy search bar to its Android keyboard
I’ve been switching between Google’s Gboard and SwiftKey for the past couple of years as my default Android software keyboard, because both of them offer compelling features. However, I’m partial to SwiftKey because of its arrow keys for moving around text – and I now have another reason to stick with it. дальше »

Pixel Slate Review: Gorgeous, flawed, and inexplicably priced
When I first tried the Pixel Slate back at Google’s October event, I left with a mixed first impression of the hardware. It was an undoubtedly gorgeous tablet, but why is it the same size as the Pixelbook? Why is there no headphone jack? Why does the keyboard cost $199 when the tablet starts at $ 599? After spending a week with a production version of the tablet, those questions have gone unanswered, coalescing with a few new frustrations. дальше »

Review: Aukey’s KM-G3 is a great entry-level mechanical gaming keyboard
Mechanical keyboards are the kind of product the adage “you get what you pay for” was created to describe. The best cost $200 or more. Quality gets pretty hit-or-miss once you dip below the $100 range. дальше »

Pixel Slate hands-on: Google’s gorgeous Chrome OS tablet features odd choices
The Pixel 3 may have been the star of the show at Google’s event this week, but the Pixel Slate tablet offers a compelling new product category for the search giant. Well, not totally new. A few years ago, Google had the Pixel C, a beautiful Android tablet that was somewhat ahead of its time, given the OS couldn’t even run two apps side-by-side back then. дальше »

The BlackBerry Key2 LE is a $399 phone with a QWERTY keyboard
TCL Communications, the Chinese company that licensed the BlackBerry name in 2016 (and has been killing it ever since) today announced the BlackBerry Key2 LE. is no longer Twitter’s most unpopular emoji
If you take a few moments to scroll through the emoji keyboard, you’ll eventually come across the ‘travel and places’ category to find an innocent looking aerial tramway (). This was Twitter‘s least used emoji for the past 77 days but as of yesterday, it’s now officially the second to last least used emoji in the emojiverse (hooray!). дальше »

Apple casually slips membranes into new Macbooks to try and fix keyboard issues
Well, I gotta eat my words. Not did I only rubbish Apple for not fixing its keyboard, one of TNW’s editors disagreed with my take on the update so much, he wrote an article refuting it. Obtained by MacRumours, an internal document that’s been sent to Apple Authorized Service Providers (you know, the folks who fix your Apple products, but don’t wear those silly polo shirts) confirms iFixit’s find of a silicone barrier underneath the keys of the new MacBook Pro. дальше »

A budget version of the BlackBerry Key2 is on the way
