Soneium integrates with Chainlink to advance its capabilities
Soneium, an Ethereum Layer-2 network, has joined Chainlink’s Scale program, according to a Sept. 12 statement shared with CryptoSlate. This move grants the blockchain network’s Minato Testnet access to Chainlink’s Data Feeds and also makes the Oracle network’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) services its canonical cross-chain infrastructure. дальше »

Sidechains vs Plasma vs Sharding
Special thanks to Jinglan Wang for review and feedback One question that often comes up is: how exactly is sharding different from sidechains or Plasma? All three architectures seem to involve a hub-and-spoke architecture with a central “main chain” that serves as the consensus backbone of the system, and a set of “child” chains containing actual user-level transactions. дальше »

Let’s not accidentally build depressed robots
In trying to keep up with the never-ending deluge of news about the forthcoming AI takeover of human society, a talk at a recent conference made me pause. For a moment, instead of having to consider whether the intelligent robots would liberate us or kill us (it’s only ever one of those two options, I find), I took a moment to worry about the machines themselves. дальше »

Bitcoin Researchers Propose New Transaction Ordering Rule
Technology & Security This week four Bitcoin Cash (BCH) researchers and developers proposed a different transaction sorting process for the BCH protocol called ‘canonical transaction ordering.’ The proposed method would sort transactions against their identifiers, rather than the current topological transaction ordering rule, making it easier to for the network to process very large blocks. дальше »
