A call center scam that targeted US citizens and requested payment in Bitcoin has been busted by police in India resulting in the arrest of 78 people. Alexa needs better training to understand non-American accents
A team of researchers working with The Washington Post found that Alexa comprehends certain non-American accents and dialects poorly in the US, and that there was a pattern to this weakness.
