Even though the crypto market at large has been faced with bearish conditions for pretty much the entirety of the last 13 months, it is worth acknowledging that a whole host of established crypto projects have continued to release updates and patches in relation to the objectives laid out in their respective roadmaps. In this regard, Tron’s Weekly report (that was released earlier this week) clearly showcases the numerous moves made by the organization to not only maximize the currency’s native framework but also propagate its use within the industry at large.

The aforementioned report comes loaded with a host of information that will be helpful in educating users about the firm’s latest DApp development processes as well as its future course of action regarding economic matters.

For starters, the report states that Tron’s dApp count has risen to a respectable total of 180. Not only that but the company now also boasts of having 7 DApp Stores that come laden with dedicated sections for Tron Dapps. These include:

“…on DappRadar, 30 DApps from Tron and EOS topped the DAU chart and none of Ethereum’s DApps made it to the top 30. In terms of DApp trading volume, through Tron tied with EOS in the recent month, the trading volume of Tron’s DApps reached its peak on January 16 and the number was 328% that of EOS on the same day.”

Talking about their native UX protocol, Tron’s dev team announced that one of their upcoming Dopp's will be called ‘TronCraft’. For those of our readers who might not be aware of what TronCraft is, it is essentially a game that parodies the FOMO culture that has sprung up around the crypto domain over the past few years. The game is all set to be released sometime later this month.

Lastly, the Tron Foundation has also announced the launch of another collaboration project called the ‘Tron Candy Box’ which has been developed by Prochain in conjunction with the folks over at Tron. In its most basic sense, the aforementioned project can be thought of as a DApp that allows users to receive a variety of Tron candies for free.

In closing out this piece, it is worth remembering that the Tron Foundation recently announced its decision to airdrop 5000 BitTorrent tokens for its community members. On the matter, Justin Sun tweeted out the following message:
