Were you using Haven Protocol? If you did, we have bad news for you. A man called “news.cutter” has recently reported that the single developer working on the project has abandoned it. The report was made after a Reddit post was found by the team (https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/aibopg/haven_protocol_exit_scam/)
The person from the post has stated in a public chat room that the project would be considered abandoned if nobody would take over. Apparently, only one developer had access to the code and this person was not responding for weeks.
In fact, the last time that the “Haven Dev” account on Twitter has posted something was in November 2019, quite a long time ago. The project is now looking for new devs to push the project forward.
The main problem was that the developer was the only one with the codes as the project was not open source, so this makes things difficult. News.cutter was making the marketing for the project and he complained about the lack of work ethics from his partner and that he did not make his fees very transparent
People on Reddit were calling the whole thing an exit scam and affirming that the developer took the money and did not want to actually make a product after all.
About Haven ProtocolAccording to information from The Block Crypto, the Haven Protocol is a Monero hard fork that was listed on Bittrex and Upbit, as well as some smaller exchanges. The token was supposed to be private and able to keep its prices more or less stable but its price has fallen down more than 90% since its all time high.
No Exit Scam? The single developer, Haven Dev, has actually answered later. According to him, there is no exit scam and he will post all the progress online so that other people are able to follow the project and move it forward.
Also, he believes that other people will be able to finish the project and he will retire from it. According to him, the code will be sent until the end of the week.
