The popular cryptocurrency platform Coinbase, has launched a new Coinbase Earn opportunity with lessons about ZCash (ZEC). ZCash is one of the most popular digital assets in the market that provides privacy features for users using it.

In order to participate, users should receive an email from Coinbase that would allow them to participate and start completing educational lessons and earn up to $3 worth of ZEC in the process.

As mentioned before, ZCash offers users the possibility to process more private transactions. In order to do so, there are two different types of addresses: transparent and also shielded. Clearly, the unencrypted transaction is transparent, similar to how Bitcoin (BTC) works nowadays. Everyone can see the information about a specific transaction.

Using shielded addresses, users can keep their financial information safe. They can transact with other individuals without having to necessarily provide information about their accounts and funds transacted.

Coinbase wrote about the new Earn ZEC Page:

“We expect earning to become an increasingly important function in the crypto ecosystem – alongside buying and mining – especially when paired with education. We hear from people that they’re always looking for trusted sources to educate themselves about new developments in crypto, and we want to help serve that need.”

Even if users were not invited to participate and earn rewards for their knowledge about ZEC, they can still view all the content on the page for free and join the waitlist to be notified when opportunities become available.

It is important for users to have their identity verified and opted in to the marketing communications related to Coinbase.

At the time of writing this article, ZEC is the 20th largest cryptocurrency in the market. It has a market capitalization of $301 million and each ZEC coin can be purchased for $5.12.
