Nervos announced the global Web3 World Championship, a hackathon aimed at supporting, highlighting, and promoting the best Web3 talents, Invezz learned from a press release on PR News Wire. The winners will receive exclusive NFTs and a prize pool of $75,000 in the native token of the Nervos Network, CKB.

The hackathon started online today and will continue until May 2, 2022. Participants can compete in team and solo activities such as relay, art, 100 m dash, and a marathon. Here are the details

Participants will create a dApp and launch it on Nervos’ EVM compatible Layer 2, Godwoken, in teams of three. The winners get $12,000 in CKB. The team that comes second wins $7,500.

Teams mint an NFT on Nervos’ flagship NFT platform, kollect.me. The 10 best NFTs each win $1,000 in CKB.

Competitors race to port their Ethereum (ETH/USD) dApp project to Nervos. The first 10 each win $1,000 in CKB.

Last but not least, teams will compete to create a meaningful dApp and launch it on Godwoken. The team ranking first, second, and third will receive $15,000, $13,000, and $7,500 in CKB respectively.
