Yesterday, there was a declaration by the NEM Foundation that the entity would be partnering with Mana Labs to untangle the prospects of blockchain in two communities in New Zealand, namely; Pasifika and Maori. The main aim of the partnership is to assist in improving the lifestyles of the people within both communities.
Having been launched at the end of March 2015, NEM is an innovative technological platform that transacts with peer-to-peer crypto bionetwork. The platform is also known to have introduced the Proof-of-importance (PoI) system to blockchain technology with an encoded message system as well as multi-signature accounts.
Blockchain Smart ContractOn the other hand, Mana Labs was founded in 2015 with the aim of reaching out to the far-reaching scale of societies in New Zealand, which included Porirua, an assemblage that belonged to them. The projects which are currently being undertaken by the Mana Labs involves setting up a Blockchain Smart contract platform with NEM in New Zealand.
The collaboration between the two companies will go a long way in establishing routine engagements between blockchain experts who are able to take part in the blockchain token ideation, which is a community interchange.
It is expected that the project will offer the right of entry to a variety of networks for Mana Labs platform to be in a position of positively engaging with NEM’s community fund which is worth one hundred million dollars. In addition to this, the project will be instrumental in providing access to blockchain technology based resources. Participants will also be assisted to enhance their expertise and be furnished with the relevant technology.
According to Mahi Paurini, the Director of Mana Labs, the great prospects offered by the partnership will go a long way in leveraging crucial associations and equipping the community with cutting-edge technological solutions which are vital in making a difference. These solutions can be applied not only by the local community, but also at the global level.
Paurini also asserts that this will inspire the establishment of enterprises and community engagements with ICT within the two communities, where in actual sense, there has been little representation. On his part, David believes that the collaboration will present New Zealand with the opportunity to showcase its commitment to technological advancements in various facets of life.
