Microsoft Japan And LayerX Startup Collaborate To Improve Speed Of Blockchain Adoption
LayerX is a startup that was created in August, originally a joint venture between Gunosy and AnyPay. However, they are taking their research with blockchain technology a little further in a new partnership with the Japanese arm of Microsoft. Together, the collaboration will help with the acceleration of blockchain technology adoption.
This work will include the help of the Azure Blockchain-as-a-Service solution that Microsoft already has, which should help to promote the expansion of this adoption. In a press release, the partners said,
“We will support the introduction process in its entirety, even down to technical support of finished implementations. Both companies will work toward realization of transformation of people's lives and working practices by promoting the implementation of blockchain technology in various industries.”
The blockchain development kit from Azure was only just released this month. Primarily, it zones in on three areas, which are “connecting interfaces, integrating data and systems, and deploying smart contracts and blockchain networks.” The decision to get on board with this innovative project is just one of the latest changes from Japan that shows their ambitious stride into the crypto industry.
There have been multiple companies that are working to promote blockchain development in Japan right now. However, not all platforms are having success in the country. Coincheck and Zaif, both based in Japan, were the victims of two hacks this year, totaling about $600 million in losses.
