MegaETH, a pioneering blockchain platform aiming to enhance transaction speeds and scalability, has successfully raised $20 million in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Dragonfly Capital, with participation from prominent figures including Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin and ConsenSys CEO Joseph Lubin.

Funding Details: The seed round, structured as equity plus token warrants, brings MegaETH’s fully diluted token valuation to at least $100 million.

Investor Participation: Alongside Dragonfly Capital, investors such as Figment Capital, Robot Ventures, Big Brain Holdings, and angel investors including Sreeram Kannan, Cobie, Santiago Santos, Kartik Talwar, Hasu, and Mert Mumtaz contributed to the round.

Technological Innovation: MegaETH aspires to process up to 100,000 transactions per second (TPS) with millisecond latency, positioning itself as the first “real-time blockchain” with full Ethereum compatibility.

Technological Advancements:

MegaETH addresses the limitations of existing Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible blockchains, which typically achieve only a few hundred TPS. By employing a heterogeneous blockchain architecture and a hyper-optimized EVM execution environment, MegaETH aims to deliver real-time performance and high transaction throughput.
