A majority of the league’s 20 teams have played so far 29 of the 38 games.
La Liga has confirmed that they will be resuming matches in June, with the teams having already started on May 4th. The Spanish league has stated that they hope to start matches on June 6th or by June 28th at the latest, in order to be ready for the European competition in August. The clubs are expected to play the rest of the eleven matches without spectators. ESPN has announced that the league should expect to play with closed stadiums until January 2021.
