On this episode of the “Bitcoin Magazine Podcast,” host Joe Rodgers sat down with Ragnar Lifthrasir of Guns N’ Bitcoin to discuss his upcoming freedom technology conference Bear Arms N’ Bitcoin, being held in Austin, Texas from April 10 to 11, 2021. The conference is focused on 3D-printing firearm technology and bitcoin privacy hardware and software.

They discussed the state of the world, the conference and the Bitcoin circular economy. Lifthrasir also shared his thoughts on this latter topic in a Bitcoin Magazine article from last November titled “It’s Time To Join The Bitcoin Circular Economy.”

Lifthraiser has found a unique position by merging Bitcoin and 3D-printing gun enthusiasts. Although not all bitcoiners are 3D-gun printers and vice versa, this conference hopes to bridge the gap between the communities.

The conference will have two hands-on tracks, one focused on running Bitcoin hardware and the other on printing firearms. This will be an ideal conference for the curious and experienced alike, not to mention that attendees will have an opportunity to shoot one of the homemade weapons at a firing range.
