The adult entertainment sector has been one of the first adopters of technology, especially when it makes the lives of their customers easier and provides more anonymity. Now popular adult live streaming website LiveJasmin is partnering with PumaPay to utilize the latter’s open-source blockchain-based billing protocol that will allow users to make cryptocurrency payments. PumaPay also enables recurring payments that weren’t possible in blockchains before.
Adult Entertainment Payment via CryptosWhether it is a credit card or payment via PayPal, frequent visitors of adult entertainment websites have been provided convenience but denied anonymity. With digital currencies, they can get the ease of access and use while never compromising their privacy. The transactions paid via crypto would not appear on credit card statements, providing them anonymity.
LiveJasmin will use the PullPayment Protocol from PumaPay to let its users pay in digital coins. These payments can be made to models, studios, and even affiliates as part of a network-wide payment solution using the unique billing system. With PumaPay, users get to make recurring payments, something that has never been done with blockchains before. Merchants will also save on the hefty card transaction fees with this unique architecture.
Karoly Papp, co-founder and CEO of LiveJasmin, commented on the tech-savviness of the website, saying:
“LiveJasmin believes in innovation, hence why we are constantly seeking to improve and enhance our features and services, and being the market leader often goes hand-in-hand with offering our members the most options possible. User anonymity and privacy are also paramount for the website.”
LiveJasmin Joins 70 Early AdoptersThe PumaPay ecosystem is being adopted by 70 parties, which include several global brands like Rent24, Pornhub, CCBill, and Vivid Entertainment. PumaPay CEO Yoav Dror said that their solution hopes to bring the control of choices and transactions back to their clients by enabling them to cancel their subscriptions directly from the PumaPay wallet app. Dror added:
“With the flexibility of PumaPay billing scenarios, we hope to make the PMA token a widely adopted payment method, meeting the needs of merchants and customers alike.”
A partnership with LiveJasmin will help in pushing PumaPay to greater adoption as the adult website is among the top 100 most visited websites, according to Alexa, and serves over 35 million daily users.
