Libellum Ltd, a Hong Kong-based information technology company has announced the launch of its new supplier verification, product certification and compliance system dubbed Libellum.

With Libellum, purchasing goods from China becomes a highly secure process via distributed ledger technology. The Libellum team has also formed partnerships with highly reputed third-party testing firms to give users the best at all times.

As the e-commerce world keeps growing with each passing day, so also are bad actors formulating new ways of selling fake products to people. Hence, the need for a highly functional verification system to help buyers get their goods from only genuine suppliers.

Libellum is looking to solve one of the most significant challenges in the import/export world by becoming the first platform to help buyers verify the credibility of suppliers from overseas.

With DLT, buyers will be able to view certificates of sellers and ascertain if they are legit and issued by a third party test laboratory or not.

Presently, Libellum is trying to ally with some of the biggest third-party testing laboratories in the world registered with the NDA. It has already gotten the support of one of Germany’s largest third-party testing labs.

The CEO of Libellum, Manuel Becvar has more than 20 years experience in the import/export industry and has networked with the world’s top 20 testing laboratories and a vast array of factories in Asia.

The Libellum MVP will go live by February 2019, and the complete platform will be launched by April/May 2019, after the integration of all third parties APIs and uploading of certificates must have been completed.

Libellum is organizing an early investor presale to help in raising funds for further development of the platform, as its CEO has already funded the concept phase.

Libellum is registered in Hong Kong by Manuel Becvar, an e-commerce giant, and entrepreneur. He has been living in China for 13 years.
