Bryson DeChambeau is a Kalshi man now. Top CFTC-regulated prediction exchange Kalshi has teamed with professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau for its first athletic endorsement deal. As part of the arrangement, DeChambeau will appear in “a TV commercial, social media posts, live appearances and promotions, branded content, and more.”

“Kalshi is building something completely different,” the platform told Front Office Sports. “As the world’s largest prediction market and one of the fastest-growing companies in the world, Kalshi is creating a fun and more engaging experience for people to predict and forecast the future.”

The deal means Kalshi will also launch markets on events in which DeChambeau plays. Bryson has played for the LIV Golf tour since 2022. “Am I gonna make a birdie on the next hole? Am I gonna win this tournament or that tournament? There’s just so many things you can do with prediction markets,” he told FOS on the course at LIV’s Teams Week in South Florida.

Kalshi has offered LIV Golf event contracts in the past, but FOS notes that it stopped offering those markets in 2025. It does offer a market on how many course records DeChambeau will break during his YouTube series this year.

In a recent press conference, DeChambeau said he was “contracted through 2026” with LIV. He hasn’t openly committed to re-signing with the Saudi-backed golf league. Recently, Brooks Koepka defected from LIV with one year left on his contract; he’s rejoining the PGA Tour but will have to face financial penalties.

Kalshi didn’t immediately share the terms or length of the endorsement deal. 

DeChambeau is not new to the gambling endorsement scene, or even to prediction markets. Earlier this month, he appeared in an ad spot for Underdog Fantasy’s prediction markets product, as pointed out by industry journalist Dustin Gouker on X. DeChambeau became the first active pro golfer to partner with DraftKings in 2021. He also played a made-for-TV match against PGA Tour golfers Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler for a $10 million purse, with the prize paid out in crypto.

As Kalshi, Polymarket, and other prediction market platforms become more entwined with sports, viewers will see more high-profile endorsement and branding deals. In December, Kalshi partnered with the Chicago Blackhawks to cross-promote on social media (on top of the multiyear deal between the NHL and both Kalshi and Polymarket that the parties inked in October).

In November, Ultimate Fighting Championship partnered with Polymarket to integrate its prediction market odds into live broadcasts and show market activity during fights, per ESPN.

Polymarket also had a major presence in the Jake Paul/Anthony Joshua boxing match. Not only did Joshua rock a chain featuring Polymarket’s logo, but Joshua also wore trunks featuring the platform’s name. You can even read ‘Polymarket’ across the top of his trunks as he knocked out Paul in the fifth round.

Not all sports leagues are gung-ho for prediction markets. In December, the NFL submitted written testimony to the House Committee on Agriculture for a hearing on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s oversight of prediction markets.

“We are particularly troubled that several sports-related futures contracts have been launched nationwide, including in jurisdictions where sports betting has not been legalized,” Jeff Miller, an executive vice president for the NFL, wrote in the testimony. “These contracts fall outside the purview of state regulatory authorities and the safeguards they impose upon the industry.

The MLB and other leagues have also voiced their concerns about the need for increased integrity protections in sports event contracts, and warned against internal staff and players participating.
