Thanks To Mcafee’s Skycoin Tattoo, SKY Currency Surges By 12%
John Mcafee is back at it with his outlandish antics, with the multi-millionaire this time posting a photo of himself with the official Skycoin logo tattooed across his back.
It is worth mentioning that this latest incident comes fresh after Mcafee’s meeting with the Skycoin executive brass at the recently concluded Malta Blockchain Conference. The multi-day even boasted of a host well-known blockchain personalities and even saw the eccentric digital savant declare to his 800K Twitter followers that Skycoin was one of the best “digital projects” to have entered the crypto sector in the recent past. Not only that, during the conference, Mcafee was even presented with Skycoin Skyminer rig.
I met the SkyCoin people – https://t.co/2oeokRUOME – at the Malta Conference. They gifted me a Sky Miner. They have some of the best technology in the Crypto Space. I guess I'm a miner now. pic.twitter.com/p8xSWO8R8k

The Aftermath of the TweetAs soon as Mcafee’s latest tweet started gaining mainstream traction, a heavy flow of interest started being directed towards the Skycoin project— thus pushing the price of the currency from a respectable $2.76 per coin to around $3.21. Additionally, at press time, Skycoin is up by more than 10$ against BTC.
With all of this out there, it is still not absolutely certain whether this latest move was a publicity stunt or whether Mcafee actually finds this product groundbreaking. Anyway, the move seems to have paid off for both parties (since it has garnered a lot of media attention over the past week or so).
Final TakeAs many of our readers already know, this is definitely not the first incident where Mcafee has gone overboard while displaying his affinity for a particular crypto project. For example, just a few months back, the digital innovator was seen promoting ‘Docademic’ along with certain other blockchain platforms.
