Forbes Global CEO Conference is a prestigious event held on October 30th and 31st and is in the 18th year now. The annual event is attended by about 400 global CEOs, entrepreneurs and thought leaders who discuss and debate pressing issues and build partnerships in the process.
This year’s theme was the fourth global revolution, which follows the path after mechanization, mass production, and digitalization. The world in 4.0 mode will affect how companies are built and led, where money is made or lost, the role of governments, and how all of us live, work and play. The change will not be neutral and will require new leadership skills and new entrepreneurs to navigate the untold creative destruction of the next few years. Yet those who can grasp the opportunities can reap huge benefits for themselves, their companies, and society.
Leading the path of the fourth industrial revolution are companies like Binance, who in fact are the backbone of the next generation of finance. Being one of the hottest companies of 2018 and the biggest name in the crypto revolution, Zhao was the perfect representative.
“#Binance was founded in July 2017, 16 months ago, and already has a multi billion dollar valutation for the company. That’s how fast things can move in crypto!" The intro for @cz_binance who will be speaking today @Forbes CEO Conference #ForbesGlobalCEO pic.twitter.com/67uYyhh9xM

To emphasize how crypto companies are actually taking decentralization to a whole new level, he said that the company neither has an office, nor a bank account. Yet they serve millions of people in 180 countries.
To explain how easy it is for a user to use crypto-based applications, he compared it to cars. Cars have pretty advanced technological and mechanical operations happening under the hood. Yet a person doesn’t need to know that. Driving a car is pretty simple. The same goes for cryptocurrencies.
It is essential for leaders like Zhao to hold their own front of other CEOs of traditional companies and also show them the world of the future that cryptocurrencies and blockchain can provide.
