Football Star Didier Drogba Becomes Crypto Ambassador for All.Me

2018-7-17 01:37

A lot can be said about Didier Drogba. The player, which is the former Ivory Coast captain and the current Phoenix Rising striker, as well as a legend in Chelsea, has enjoyed a stellar career so far in the football world. Now, he is set to be the new ambassador of a new crypto platform called all.me.

The two-time African Footballer of the Year has now the responsibility of working with a virtual currency platform that pledges to share ad revenue with the users.

Didier Drogba Believes In Cryptos “A Lot”

The all.me project is managed by its founder, Artak Tovmasyan. He described his own project as the first digital platform that will be able to combine what makes a social network with a crypto bank and a trading floor relevant and unite it all.

All.me’s main hook is that while most of the platforms keep all the revenue from the ads to themselves, this company wants to take a different route and share up until the half of what the company is earning with the users, especially the ones which are more active in the upcoming community.

While speaking with media outlets, Drogba stated that he believes in cryptos and in the project “a lot”. He was wearing a shirt of the company during the interview and said that he was hyped about what the project is offering.

What Is All.Me Offering?

According to the site of the project, this platform will get its revenue from advertising but, unlike Facebook, it will give real prizes to the users that contribute the most to the network. They will be able to get rewards for their activities on the platform and for their popularity and content.

Popular people will also be able to activate an option to have ads shown on their profiles, so their followers will see them and they will make money from it. All the rewards will be based on ALL.ME tokens and a percentage will be paid by the company for each view that the users get.

How to use the tokens? You can easily use them on the store of the company to buy  themes for your profile, subscription of premium services or you can sell them on external exchanges and get other cryptos for them.

Also according to the site of All.Me, it was able to raise over $30.5 million USD in the pre-sale stage and the main ICO was delayed to the end of 2018 because the team already had the money that it needed and could organize better for the sale.

More Ex Football Stars Enter The Crypto World

There are more players interested in the growing number of cryptos in the market. Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona’s star, has been reported to have been interested in the blockchain.

Other players that had shown interest in the crypto world are Ronaldinho, the former Brazilian player, which has created his own Ronaldinho Soccer Coin (RSC) and has the plan of creating more than 300 stadiums that will use virtual reality, AI and blockchain. He is also interested in making a blockchain betting platform.

There is also the Colombian James Rodriguez, which has also released his JR10 token early in this last summer, a partnership with SelfSell that was made to help him to build new types of relationship with his supporters. It was a huge hit.
