Every altcoin has tagged alongside Bitcoin for the rally it is undergoing and so has Bitcoin Cash, as the price of BCH surged by a massive 6% in an hour. Altcoins, at press time, were pumping but not as much as Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin Cash, the fourth largest cryptocurrency was nearing the $300-level.
As seen in the chart above, the prices reached as high as $305 on May 11, 5:32 UTC. The market cap also saw a drastic increase, i..e, it hit $5.36 billion.
The price of Bitcoin Cash increased by a massive 33.73% in only 11 days and the overall increase in the price of Bitcoin since 2019 is 108%, after reaching a peak of 142% on April 3, 2019. BCH’s price on April 3 hit $354, which was last seen in 2018.
The Bitcoin rally has spurred up the altcoins to undergo a rally of their own, which is causing the price to hit highs last seen about six months ago.
Bitcoin Cash’s rival, Bitcoin SV was at the 13th rank and had surged by 0.66% in the last 24 hours and was only priced at $57 with a market cap of $1.02 billion.
