A plan which aims to destroy fake news by using blockchain technology, similar to that used by Bitcoin, is set to be released in a bid to cut down on sending out mis-leading information. The term, ‘fake news’ has been around for decades however, it only became popular after Donald Trump frequently used the term after he was successfully elected in the 2016 U.

S presidential election and it is now perceived as one of the biggest threats to the western democracy.
