EOS Unveils EOSIO V1.1
EOS, a blockchain Operating System which recently made public its Mainnet, has come out to publicly announce the unveiling of EOSIO version 1.1, which happens to be the Blockchain software architecture of the project.
As a result of this latest release, EOS has been able to include some unique features which are designed for the purpose of laying the right groundwork for the ensuring future scalability.
Along with this release is the MongoDB plugin, which happens to be an operational plugin that makes available the archiving of the data of the Blockchain inside a MongoDB, this thus enables it to perform some really scalable and convenient queries. In addition to this, EOS has also included to main upgrades aimed at improving the quality of life. These features include faster synchronization as well as database guards by making sure that there is no attempt to transmit transactions out of the sync nodes.

Of great importance is the fact that EOS makes mention of the fact that it is at the moment seeking to support a number of hardware technologies. There is, however, no official timetable for the possible integration of the said feature. There are also some upcoming previews which can be gotten on the EOS Github.
EOS prices have witnessed a decline ever since it reached a high of $20.69 back in April, currently, it is priced at $7.95. The project is now reputed to have a market capitalization of $7.13billion which makes it one of the biggest altcoins you will find in the market.
What Features Should You Expect? It is worthy of note that the MongoDB plugin is one optional plugin which makes available a simpler way of archiving the data for blockchain in sort of reading only MongoDB. This, therefore, makes convenient and scalable queries of the data in such a way that makes it quite familiar with the developers of its infrastructure. Also, the data which is stored directly on the MongoDB enables it to be queried without having to exert way too much pressure on the nodes of the network.
Quicker SyncingQuicker syncing takes care of two major points which were realized before the development of EOSIO. These are the performance degradation when node syncing as well as performance degradation. As for the version 1.1.0, EOSIO node daemon will not make any further attempt at transmitting relay transactions when they are far beyond sync in order to make available useful validation. This result in the overall improvement of performance as well as a drop in the cost of trying to validate data that is out of sync.
Database SafeguardThese help in making available a much simpler way with which to gain back database that is exhausted by simply editing one configuration so as to prevent re-syncs and long replays.
A number of preview features were made available and they are reputed to be of Alpha quality. Although they may not yet be production ready, these features form a representation of the path with which the software is treading
