EOS has been hit particularly hard during the recent market downturns. It has been underperforming Bitcoin in both price drops and gains and has continually dropped through what are meant to be key support levels. It is trading at just a fraction of what it was when the mainnet launched. The last two important support levels that prices broke through were $7 and the $5.5. Although RSI is in oversold territory it continues to form lower lows with selling pressure remaining strong. The next significant support level will be around the $4.5 point.
EOS Daily ChartThe hourly 50EMA has been acting as significant resistance for some while with price action struggling to close above. It is hard to find any reason for a bullish outlook with EOS given that when the overall market is performing well, EOS has been underperforming. The MACD is forming a centreline crossover to the upside which is a typical bullish signal but amid the strong selling pressure, it is unlikely to have any positive impact.
