How is the world of cybersecurity fearing in the age of the Covid-19 pandemic? Find out the answer to this and many other questions at the third edition of the Gulf Congress on Cybersecurity, taking place on April 11th 2021 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai.

The Gulf Congress on Cybersecurity is an exclusive, closed-door, by invitation only gathering of C Level executives in Government and Private Organizations in the UAE.

The major topics presented at the event are:

Cyber Pandemic in the MENA region The MENA region is experiencing a “Cyber Pandemic” alongside the “healthcare pandemic” that the entire world is going through. The GCC recorded 3067 Covid-19 Cyber Attack in Q1 of 2020 alone. This theme will discuss the ways governments and private organizations in the MENA region are fighting back. OT Cyber Security – Half of all cyber-attacks in the Middle East target the oil & gas industry. Previously, these attacks were focused on the IT environment, however, we’ve been seeing an increase in attacks on Operational Technology. What to do to properly protect the strategic infrastructure in the region? Data Protection and Data Privacy – DIFC’s newly announced Data Protection Law explained and discussed. Legislators, regulators, lawyers and cybersecurity experts discuss the implication of the new law, its challenges and the opportunities that lay ahead.

The congress will host up to 150 C Level decision makers, 20 industry expert speakers and 11 sponsors.
