Crypto.com, a project that seeks to offer users an alternative to traditional financial services, recently announced that it had joined hands with Booking.com. The firm unveiled this news through a blog post on January 11, noting that this partnership seeks to offer its users a variety of travel deals. Reportedly, this collaboration will provide all crypto.com users that book travels with Booking.com with accommodation discounts of up to 25%. However, the users will have to make bookings through the Crypto.com App.
While commenting on this partnership, Crypto.com’s CEO, Kris Marszalek, said that the company’s Visa Card has become 2020s most widely used crypto-linked card and currently, they are serving more than 5 million users worldwide.
According to the blog post, this partnership will also offer users that pay through the Crypto.com Visa card an additional 8% cashback offer on any amount they spend. On top of this, the card users will get amazing travel benefits, such as free and unlimited LoungeKey airport lounge access, no foreign transaction fees, and free ATM withdrawals across the globe. Crypto.com has also granted its customers access to Booking.com’s 400,000 discounted properties, and more than 28 million accommodation listings.
A strategic partnership with AlchemyThree days after Marszalek noted that that the company was planning to announce more partnership, Crypto.com announced that it had joined hands with Alchemy, the world’s most powerful blockchain developer platform. Through this partnership, Crypto.com cemented its efforts toward the launch of a mainnet. Reportedly, Alchemy’s role in this partnership will be creating a developer platform for Crypto.com, helping the firm expand its ecosystem.
According to the announcement, Crypto.com will become Alchemy’s second-largest partner. Crypto.com will benefit from Alchemy’s wide-ranging suite of developer tools and services, reliability, and speed. In turn, the company will be able to build exceptional applications. By teaming up with Alchemy, Crypto.com will also minimize the operating and maintenance costs of developers. As such, the developers won’t have to create complete nodes or enhance the cost-effectiveness of partner products.
